May meeting

The Cranberry Lacers met today for our May 2017 monthly lace day at the Franklin Township Public Library in Somerset, NJ.  We welcomed a brand new lacemaker for her first lesson today!  She learned about us through visits to the library.

Lots of different lace was on our members' pillows today:

This is a Tonder (Danish point ground) edging

A Torchon motif

A Torchon shawl in the making

A diamond shaped Torchon motif

Binche bookmark

Russian tape lace collar

Bell shaped tape lace motif

We meet every third Saturday of the month for a day of lacing and conversation. We are a group of friendly lacemakers with a range of experience - we are lucky enough to have a professional instructor to teach the beginners and work with the experienced.  Anyone is welcome to join us!  The room we meet in at the library is large with lots of light.  Feel free to email us at for more information.

Cranberry Lacers has been a chartered chapter group of IOLI for 25 years.
