September Meeting

Six Cranberry Lacers got together on this beautiful fall day to enjoy the hours of lacing and companionship.  Pat brought a number of patterns and ideas for some group projects going forward, including a star design for a lesson on using magic threads, an Idrija heart, and some torchon designs to explore different grounds and different spiders.  We also enjoyed a good look through some Idrija books of Pat's and a stack of old IOLI bulletins that I (Arlene) was given.

As always, there was a variety of projects being worked on throughout the day. I brought my finished lace, mounted on a piece of fabric.  Final finishing (putting it into a frame to become a clock) to come!:

We meet every third Saturday of the month for a day of lacing and conversation. We are a group of friendly lacemakers with a range of experience - we are lucky enough to have a professional instructor to teach the beginners and work with the experienced.  Anyone is welcome to join us!  The room we meet in at the library is large with lots of light.  Feel free to email us at cranberrylacers@gmail.com for more information.Cranberry Lacers has been a chartered chapter group of IOLI for 25 years
